Poggio Torriana – Società Italiana Gas Liquidi SpA – Vulcan announces the acquisition of two important distribution hubs located in the Marche region.
A strategic move
The two plants have been acquired by Vega Carburanti Spa, a historic company and one of the largest independent energy distribution operators in Italy, with a network of over 110 service stations distributed across Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia-Romagna, Lombardia, and Piemonte.
For Vulcan, this investment represents a significant integration of its existing network, which helps to strengthen Vulcan’s presence in a key region for the Italian transportation market.
The acquisition is estimated to increase the Group’s turnover by over 25 million euros and the addition of 12 new employees.
The Fabbri family wishes to express its gratitude to the shareholders and directors of Vega Carburanti, Dr. Elisabetta Vianello and Eng. Agostino Apa, and to General Manager Luca Rossi, for the professionalism and cooperation demonstrated throughout the acquisition process.
Giacomo Fabbri, CEO of Vulcan, stated:
This important acquisition confirms the Group’s strategy, aimed at consolidating its presence in the two main market segments, wholesale and retail distribution of energy products, through its own assets.
We are convinced that this operation represents a fundamental step for the growth and future development of Vulcan Group.
