At our service station in Strada Cascinette, we hosted a landmark event celebrating the collaboration between Vulcan and IVECO: the refueling and road test of the S-Way powered by Bio-LNG.
This was more than just a technical demonstration; it was an institutional milestone. Andrea Bosi (Key Account Manager at Vulcan) officially presented Siro Fabbri (IVECO) with the Guarantee of Origin (GO)—a certificate verifying the 100% sustainable source of the fuel provided.
Sustainability by the numbers: beyond carbon neutrality
By utilizing biomethane, the IVECO S-Way does more than just “go green”, it becomes an active driver of decarbonization.
According to studies by the CNR (National Research Council), using this fuel can reduce Co2 emissions by up to 121% compared to diesel, achieving a so-called “sub-zero” impact.
In addition to emission savings, there is a drastic reduction in noise pollution, making the vehicle ideal for both long-haul routes and urban environments.
