We are excited to announce that Vulcan hosted at its Aprilia (LT) station the first Italian leg of IVECO’s Tour d’Europe 2025 in collaboration with Bosch, a leading manufacturer of automotive technology components.
A crucial event that underscores our joint commitment to decarbonizing the transportation sector and promoting biomethane as the energy solution of the future.
During the event, the IVECO S-Way LNG vehicle was refueled with our 100% bio biomethane, a renewable fuel synonymous with economy.
A significant moment was the handover to IVECO of the Guarantee of Origin, a certification attesting to the entirely organic origin of the fuel. This process, also made possible through the use of the VCARD circuit, Vulcan’s fuel card, ensures full traceability and transparency of the origin of biomethane, giving our customers the certainty of choosing a sustainable option.
The Tour d’Europe 2025, a wide-ranging initiative involving more than 20 partners from the European automotive supply chain, aims to raise awareness of the key role of renewable fuels in achieving climate neutrality by 2050, in line with the European Green Deal.
At Vulcan, we firmly believe in the potential of BIOLNG as a pillar of the circular economy and a key tool for cleaner transportation.
Our supply network and ability to provide certified Guarantees of Origin place us at the forefront of this energy transition.
We would like to thank Siro Fabbri (IVECO Alternative Traction Italy Market Manager), Andrea Bosi (Vulcan Key Account Manager), Silvia Migliorini (Federchimica-Assogasliquidi Director) and Costantino Amadei (Federchimica-Assogasliquidi LNG Group President) for participating in the event.
